The Houston Rockets host the New York Knicks tonight. 7 PM on NBC Peacock. Another winnable game.
Only eight games left. Rockets have 4 fewer losses than the Suns. The Rockets own the tiebreaker also.

So if the Rockets win tonight their magic number to clinch a playoff spot (6th seed at worse) would be 3.
After this long and difficult season. No Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams being lost. I'll take the playoffs.

6th seed is perfectly fine. We'll have an exciting series with the Lakers in the first round. Lakers will be favored.
But I want no part of that 7 to 10 Play-In Tournament. Suns, Clippers, Trail Blazers and Warriors can have at it.
