I coulda wrote mental illness in the title but didnt. Albeit I do acknowledge the male population 20-50s have mental illness. Even then we are still boyfriends, husbands, dads.
When reading reddit I notice a lot of women bandwagoning on divorcing their male partners due to incompetence (eg: he doesn't help with the kids).
I ask you men of d2jsp, what does it mean to be a good man, especially with mental health struggles?
You have to be emotionally available, make them feel heard, help out around the house, acknowledge them, buy them flowers, take them on dates, don't try to control them, treat them as an equal and treat them the same way you treated them when you first started talking to them. Oh and you have to be consistent
