I am on ROTW Ladder and i just found my second Ber.
I wanted to make a light sorc, never made one before (im thinking nova?)

I dont have a Griffins yet, or Arachs, or maras, facetse or any other high level item for a sorc

Since my only real high level item will be an infinity -
Do i make it in a base for my Merc? Like a Giant Thresher or a CV?
Or do I make it in a base for my Sorc for self use? Like a Poleaxe for something.

My main concern is will the Sorc be viable without all the gear (like with a shako, occy, spirit, cresent moon and an infinity) or should i wait to find more gear first

Nova or lightning sorc? For nova, self wield scythe infinity, for lightning doesn't mstter basically. Something fast with low requirement like eth thresher or eth gpa.

any benefit to one over another? Whatever is better at clearing p8 tz's

non eth mancatcher so you can use it on spearzon & speardin and merc or hell even on a sorc with the str & dex

oh thats...actually a good point. i didnt think i would be making a spearzon or speardin - but if thats a viable build, i may try it one day.

would a non eth mancatcher allow my merc to not constantly die if i ever switched it to a merc?

Just do a scythe. Probably best resale value. And spearzon is a meme.

yeah it does have good enough damage even non eth to leach but probably better survivability with a Cure/Coh prayer merc or Andy/Forty and another aura anyway look for at least 7%ll

Eth yari

Dmg is good enough to allow your merc to sustain

Str req is low enough so you can equip it with the bonus str you get from eth treks

Works for both options this way

Eth treks req 81 str, they give +10-15 str
Eth yari reqs 91 str, so you’re fine with any rand eth treks
