So many people have died in the name of religion,done evil things in the name of religion,keep doing evil things. They also use it to tell themselves they are better then others and they are right. Or that God gave them permission to do evil things.
Being religious or non religious has nothing to do with intelligence. Because there is plenty of idiots in all groups who want to argue one group is better then the other
