Nice guide, you know a lot of the mechanics of the demon.
I'm currently binding a Cursed/Fana/Magic Resist (bummer) Hephasto that I managed to find quite fast, now I'm going to try out those Urdars.

Question is, are monsters limited to a maximum of five unique bonuses or are they just not listed? My Hephasto doesn't show Extra Fast and judging by his speed he might not have it, but he's so fast anyway that maybe EF just doesn't do anything (speed cap?)?
His bonuses are listed in order as Spectral, Aura, Cursed, Magic Resistant (his original four on Hell) and lastly Extra Strong which is from Bind Demon bonuses. This is just a guess but if indeed the limit is five, then are the ones added to the demon in order of the levels of Bind Demon? Extra Strong is the first one so that would make sense but obviously this is a sample size of one and seeing how Spectral and Aura are already on him, if it was a random 50% chance between ES and EF then I just flipped the better side of the coin with him.

I don't believe they are limited, I've seen a bunch on some demons

It seems you're right, I've just bound a random unique Gorebelly in TR's temples and it doesn't have Aura Enchanted on its list but it still has Holy Shock.

edit: eh, link is better

Yeah I'm still not clear on what degree affixes can be stacked without being displayed / if any get dropped. And in some cases, like TZ cursed with a cursed unique they display and don't work. Needs some more testing.
There are a few demon superuniques that always spawn with 2 affixes that aren't extra fast / extra strong / aura enchanted / spectral hit. Namely pitspawn fouldog (cursed+cold), Toorc Icefist (cold + stone skin) and Wyand Voidbringer (mana burn + teleportation), thus if they randomly roll affixes other than the 4 given by bind, they should have 8 total affixes in hell when bound. Those would be the monsters to test to see if affixes get dropped.

Some other things I saw is that those different "Blunderbore" variants seem to be having vastly different speeds and I can't get a read on what's causing this. My first impression was that they were so much slower than Hephasto, but now I'm not sure. Of course there are many other things to consider to decide a better demon, but their movement speed at the least seems to be slower.

I also managed to bug out some of their mob's minions to a point that they would follow me and my allies and attack but not deal any damage and nothing I did could even touch them. Some skill swapping and killing other mobs solved this sooner or later.
I could even hold down Bind Demon to rapidly deplete my mana, not catch the demon and somehow it also randomly replenished like half my mana and then drained it again as I held the spell. Weird.

One other thing I wanted to ask is have you tried maybe doing a build that specializes on boss killing, as those summoned Goatmen have Crushing Blow? You could have a bound demon Urdar with two goats all dealing CB.
That would of course require another build as the goat CB requires Death Mark points or it's probably just not worth it.

Different monsters have different speed parameters. Goatmen are an example where throughout the game they keep getting faster, from 5 velocity in stony field to 12 for the final act 5 guest. Urdars have 3/4/6/6/8 speed for the variants found in palace cellar / tals tomb / durance / act 5 / river of flame
So yeah there's probably a good argument that river of flame has the best urdars and you should use act 4 shards to get 2x the speed of the act 2 variety
I should probably have looked up those numbers now that I think about it. They are significantly harder to obtain though, 43% chance to spawn in any game.

20 hard points into death mark to get 26 total chance for cb doesn't seem attractive. Your merc can do that job for you if needed.

Yeah should at least be x3 that so they reach 66% cb

Yeah and its just not a very good damage source at low ias. 2 goatmen for what, 2 attacks every 23-25 frames or so? Against a 2.22 million hp baal after amp its on average like +8000 per attack? And thats its best case scenario, its like 2000 vs diablo, 500 vs infector of souls.
