What are Black Lancers?
They are arguably the most powerful Demon you can bind. For comparison:

Hephasto at 88 does
Mode A1 (3874 AR) 140-170, 50% chance of 40-80 fire

A Black Lancer (Worldstone level 1) 88 does
Damages:
Mode A1 (4930 AR) 130-260
Mode S1 (4226 AR) 120-180

Lister 88 does:
Damages:
Mode A1 (7396 AR) 80-130
Mode A2 (7396 AR) 80-140

But the main advantage of the Black Lancer is that it often uses Jab, which are 3 fast consecutive hits, so they kill stuff much faster than Lister or Hephasto, on top of being faster to jump to their target. They also don't get telelocked.

Black Lancers can only be found in Worldstone level 1 and Matron's Den (ubers). Matron's Den version is arguably inferior, because they are level 83 and don't scale with TZ, so you never get max aura benefits at level 12. They don't have more HP either.

Why should you buy the service?

It takes a while to find! Black Lancers are guest monsters in A5, so they don't always appear. You also don't need to spend your own A5 shard this way.

My offer:
When I have a game up, you will be able to bind a Cursed one at level 96 (P5 or higher). There are many of them available, so you can have the aura you want. I also have Skill shrines available so you can bind them at the highest possible level. I can also lend you a few Demon charms if you want to use them for your bind (since the level will persist). We are only using Normal monsters here because it guarantees that we get Cursed. We don't really care about Uniques because most of the time they are not worth the chase and end up with skills we otherwise already get guaranteed from Lvl 20 Bind demon. Even if you get lucky and have another skill such as elemental enchant, the damage and HP difference is negligible going from normal/minion to Unique. The time investment to find those is significantly higher, especially if only hunting Black Lancers in WSK 1, but using this method you get what you want in a minute or two.

I already have another Lancer variant, should I still do this?
Yes! The ones from WSK 1 are more powerful than even the ones you find in other A5 places, such as Frozen River or Ancient's Way (Dark Lancers). Those have much smaller health pools (by a factor of 4.5 times) and this is their damage:
Damages:
Mode A1 (4664 AR) 61-122
Mode S1 (3998 AR) 56-84

The Rogue Spearwomen in Act 1 don't matter at all because they cannot use Jab, and they are always much slower, so you should avoid them entirely.

Any other benefits to doing this?
The other benefit of this method is you can hunt the one with your preferred look: either the ponytail one, the "pretty" loose-haired one or the demon horns/monster face one!
You will also stop hearing Hephasto screaming in agony whenever you leave your game

Well, as you can see from this thread, I'm "biased" (by the data). A lot of people don't know what the best demon is because they don't look at the numbers. The best ones that you can conveniently bind are going to be Hephasto and Lister the Tormentor. Maulers/uldars too since they are common in Tombs. But the best ones as a whole when optimizing are going to be lancers, specifically the Black lancer from Act 5 Worldstone keep.

The best mods for which build? I play Echoing and I'd argue they are
Cursed
Fanaticism
Lightning enchanted -- to help the curse spread even faster but it's not important due to Death mark and the speed at which they run and attack, they proc it all the time.
or Fire enchanted for better AR/damage but I have an enchantress buff so it's irrelevant to me. This is why I bind the normals and don't mind forgoing the third stat. It's usually useless or you get it from bind demon 20 points anyway.
