Trying to get my wife into d2r, we plan to play on ps5.

What would be a good team combo?

She is those mindless hack and slash type, no skill change, just button smash

vita trapper + bowzon or javzon (a lot of colorful explosions on screen, splash damage)
fissure druid + poison nova necro (the lower resist on the necro will increase the damage of fissure)

Dual warlock by far easiest an most boring combo.

Whirlwind barb and bowazon would be pretty fun and op imo
But its tough since both class are a lot gear and inventory dependent

I think I'd always want a paly for 2 man team. You play a paladin. Lead the way with zeal, hdin or a more support style with foh/conviction. Let your gf pick whatever character she thinks looks cool and then adjust your builds for it.
