The only reason d2r is very good (not as perfect as the original LoD, but it's still very good) is because ActiVision Blizzard did not develop it... If they had, well—Just look at Warcraft 3 Reforged.

We need to be thankful that the warlock is OKAY. It's terribly unbalanced and the strongest build of all time, but the actual flavor of the class fits into D2 well. If they balanced it, it would be a lot better, but I don't have much hope for that for a few years.

I personally believe an act 6 would be terrible.

And I do not think there will be an Act 6.
I believe there will be something called "Ad infinitum", where you get infinte quests, generated by LLMs trained by your playstyle, so there will be custom quests and monsters ...

That was 8 years ago, they wont make such dumb mistakes again. Last time they teased something (i think in august) they gave us a new character since 25 years just a few months after teasing it. They learned how fans will react and the only thing that would make us freak out is act 6. Its 100% coming!
