Perhaps what will save our Republic is when our population has time for advocacy again. Even a serf needs some bare minimums for the feudal model to sustain. If USA doesn't address the minimus leadership gonna get cast off. Other route is amplify a global war and deploy the riff raff segment of the 90%


History didn't have Facial Recognition AI Surveillance Cameras at every major travel hub in the world.

A federalized police force won't care about individual rights of a state's citizen.

You will go to war or be imprisoned and treated like a PoW.

They don't care already but that's not the point. The issue is in scale and velocity, and with AI displacement across all industries. That's a lot of constituents to placate/jail.

The PoW treatment has more odds than displaced worker going to War. It doesn't even pay well. ICE would be a much smarter move morals aside

Reality and Trump fiction are often not aligned. Consent or social contract has a few base minimums before breached

you're putting a lot of faith into people who don't know Article 4, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

I'm saying grass roots level advocacy will increase as a function of displaced workers , short changed benefits, and marginalized opportunities.

So the people you don't have a lot of faith in now, they'll have time for it soon. And it's not just going to be some niche group like union workers or teachers. It's going to be professionals across all industries, hourly , salaried, trade, union. Just my smoke shop speculation.

Maybe Nvidia will release a budget 6090 and nobody will give a s*** though

I'm very pessimistic on this discussion.

I believe that not only will those people not step up, they'll be complacent and accept "just the way it is now".

We're being ushered into a propagandized world, the idea of individual freedom is slipping from the minds of the people. By the time the tipping point comes, it will be all too late. They won't dare step out of line, AI and Surveillance will eliminate those who do and put fear into the minds of those who consider.

Daily the US Constitution is trampled upon and the rights written in the Declaration of Independence are beginning to blur. Instead of kings we have ceos.

For the record, I am pro individual freedom and pro US Constitution. But very pessimistic based on what I'm seeing happen to the country I love. (US)
