so finally CyberConnect2 has brought back their beloved series DOT HACK

it's been 20 years since we got, .hack//g.u. trilogy

most thought DOT HACK was a failed franchise, because it didn't get the Final Fantasy sales, but here we are

apparently they have been working on this new game for 10 years, and kept it secret all that time...

the game is fully made by CyberConnect2 without any interference from Bandai Namco...



who else is gonna get this on release?

Never played the games did watch the anime long time ago.

I never played any of the games but I did catch some random episodes a long time ago when I was young. I never knew what was going on but it looked really cool. I remember .hack//sign and .hack//infection

I am so old school. If there was an anime which I would recommend and which has themes of hacking, psychology, intrigue, and much, much more, it would continue to be Serial Experiments Lain. Forgive my being stuck in the past comment.

Older ps2 .hack games are super expensive, I've always admired them in front of glass at game stores.

Prolly not for everyone but if you like stuff like log horizon and sao you will prolly like it. I liked .hack/sign the most others not as much

I did get the first two games.

Once covid caused a lockdown, i wished i wouldve got 3 and 4 too. So i couldve played again. To be symbolic if nothing else.
