Self found self activated. Im lvl 97. Why is my shard making TZ85 areas?
My buddies and I at first kept asking "who created the game, maybe it was my barb, maybe it was him... we were so confused but only today did I make a mental note of which shard I found and then popped it in a game that I created so now no question it should be TZ96. I tried Google and AI to get an answer but I didnt really get much more than a word salad, and I dont think it actually knows the answer. Does anyone here know?!

Its not who made the game.

It is who was game "meader" at the moment TZ popped or shard was popped.
Example :
Yesterday my main made a game, aml was good, TZ 96.
Quit game with main, then rejoined.
Left game with the fillers.
Came back in.
Hoping main account "took the lead"
But even then, got a TZ 83 game (which is weird since my fillers are lvl 80 and not 81 but okay... lets say whatever).
I had to wait until next TZ for it to be lvl 96.
So main acc took the lead indeed, but when he came back into game, TZ was already active under the lvl 80s chars, and made the TZ be lvl 83 (gotta figure it out, dont think one of the 2 fillers lvld up... weird huh).

So my understanding is :
Your main acc has to have lead of the game while either Sharding or while TZ rotation happens.
It might also have a timer needed but I doubt that.

Solution: be game creator with at least lvl 94 and open all 5 shards before other players join

Again.. my main is lvl 97. I found the shard. I made new game. I popped the shard. Lvl 85 CS. The only thing I will have to try is popping the shard before the fillers come in. Maybe my bo barb was in act4 and I was act1 when I popped it? I dont remember that part. Ill try that later today. Thanks!!

i had this happen recently when sharding act2

oddly, tombs were tz96 but certain other zones in a2 such as halls and stony tomb were tz82/81/80 depending on what level you were in

i dunno what caused it

oh yeah probably which char is in the act... that could be it too I guess...



oh well looks like game is full of surprises huh... ><

100% this is happening!! I noticed the tz level changed based on which area! Idk why though. There doesnt seem to be any consistency. I will start writing down which areas are what TZ and compare on the next shard!
