I always loved the storyline of D1 and D2 although its not Shakespear and also not the main reason for why I love the games - But not knowing anything about it after thousands of hours is just pathetic.

For me the coolest thing was the Tal Rasha story line and it intersects with Marius. Almost has a fall of man type of narrative to it. Like Adam in the garden
