HERALD CHEAT SHEET
• Heralds spawn ONLY in Terror Zones.
• They attach to champion/unique packs.
• “You draw the ire…” = Herald queued.
• MULTIPLE Heralds can queue.
• All queued Heralds spawn when you hit enough elite packs.
Herald Levels (Always in Order)
1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → back to 1
Level names:
- L1: Fright / Dread / Panic
- L2: Terror / Horror / Nightmare
- L3: Torment / Agony / Suffering
- L4: Ruin / Doom / Despair
- L5: Annihilation / Oblivion / Extinction
Names are random, level order is not.
RESETS HERALDS:
• Leaving game
• Crash + rejoin
DOES NOT RESET:
• TZ change
• Act change
• Waypointing
• Worldstone Shards
TZ MONSTER LEVEL (HELL):
= Character Level + 3 (cap 96)
Overrides original zone level.
COW LEVEL:
• Can be a TZ
• Cannot be forced with Act 1 shard
BEST HERALD ZONES:
• Act 5 (Frigid, Plateau, WSK, Throne)
• Act 3 Jungles
• Act 4 River/Chaos
ACT 1 DENSITY:
High: Catacombs, Tower
Low: Mausoleum, Crypt
ACT 2 DENSITY:
Low: Anywhere else in Act 2
Medium: Far Oasis, Lost City, Ancient Tunnels, Stony Tomb, Rocky Waste
High: Tombs, Arcane Sanctuary
ACT 3:
Spider Forest>Marsh>Flayer>All Kurast's and bonus levels/crypts
Act 5:
Just teleport/walk the entire act. It's loaded with champs/elites. I had 2 herald's just in bloody foothills.
HERALD CYCLE:
• 5 Herald kills = 1 full cycle
• ~2 cycles per full game
SUNDER ODDS:
• ~120–150 Herald kills per Sunder (p1)
This has been my research thusfar - since I play solo, but online. I hope this helps - I would've loved to have known all of this when ladder dropped.
I must reiterate **Multiple Herald's can be queued simultaneously. I've personally witnessed this and had to deal with a L2 and L3 herald simultaneously. That shit hurts.
