no no no. our poor health cant POSSIBLY be the food we eat. everyone knows food has nothing to do with health, let alone weight. i have fat genetics, there's nothing i can do. if i stopped eating i'd actually get fatter, this sugar is keeping me thin.
but for real, well ahead of you. i eat a pretty japanese diet overall. almost all whole foods, no processed, most of it i try and grow personally or source locally.
East Asian food are actually pretty good and healthy... apart from Dogs of course...The Korean Government finally banned Dog meat consumption last year I think.
I hope the Chinese ban it in very near future although there is only one county in China that still continue with the practice.
Northern Part of Vietnam also practice the consumption of Dog meat and if the internet is true, some rural parts of Switzerland still do that.
I heard they tried but not officially because if they go hardcore on it there will be repercussions in Western media saying the CCP is oppressing the culture of their minorities.
Overall, Japanese food and actually food in Hong Kong and Macau and last but not least Taiwan are the "healthiest" a lot of folks live past the age of 90 and you will be surprise that they also smoke and drink.
