Had a FR problem on my amazon so I rolled a flickering flame in a 3soc spired helm for my merc. Ended up being perfect roll.

Which leads me to my question--
Is STR an issue for self-use on warlock? 192 str req, but I'm thinking that may not be an issue due to high STR req't on 2h weapons such as thunder maul?

Res is not important when you have Blood Oath. I 99'd with negative fire res and never had elemental damage issues. I guess Flickering would be good for a fire lock, but you're not gonna need thunder maul str for that tho.

On a fire warlock you will never need that much strength so the 192 surely is an issue

Levitation only lowers the stats required to use a weapon, not to wear armor.

You can get away with bad res because the build is broken.
Doesn’t mean it’s good.

BO makes you tanky vs phys.
Res still matters vs actual threats.

You’re just not getting hit.
