If religion was real you wouldn't have dozens of different branches of it trying to convince people they are the right ones.

Systematic oppression for many a millennium has masqueraded as religion. A thousand years from now a new diety will be used to exert pain on the less fortunate. Same as its always been.

People got smarter and stopped going to church.
The government got big mad and told everyone they need jesus in the classrooms.

Flip side?

Jesus pushed a plan of freedom of choice.
Satan pushed a plan of obedience.
Satan was cast out.
Forcing beliefs down people's throats is the path of Satan.
Your government is evil if it does this.

sedimentary layers- minerals laid down by water
we are supposed to believe that each layer is millions n millions of years old. we are supposed to believe that some process would sort this mineral or some other mineral out of some were and just lay that mineral for millions of years. then switch to some other mineral for millions of years

or what if its all done at relatively the same time?
