No, because some people might not even realize.

But if there are daily trade threads with 10+ Bers 10+ Jahs and other ludicrously rare items, its fairly obvious what's going on.

It doesn't clarify what that constitutes. Does posting daily threads with refresh high runes not consistute clear evidence of botting?

No, it doesn't. Those people could be reselling from others. You want to punish people who don't actively do the botting? I'd guarantee you a vast majority of those people are resellers, not the actual botters.

If this affects you so much, why don't you post about it in site suggestions and suggest changing it?

Again, the rule is clear no discussing/posting/linking the actual tool/method.
Which part do you feel is unclear?

I've seen this exact same thing argued twice since I've joined the site. Has this been a common thing people who don't understand the rules complain about? (Referring to OPs post)

It’s just such a non issue anyway.

“Oh my item is worth less fg because of bots”

You can literally play ssf or even do in game trades.
The complaint always boils down to “I’m not very good at playing jsp”

Ppl who hate bots using this site are kind of like white Americans that hate natives, when the natives were there first!
d2jsp is practically stolen land.
Botting culture made this website.
I'm not pro-bots and agree it would be a better game without them but expecting d2jsp to actively ban those that do use bots from their website, let blizzard handle that imo.
I think they are already pretty strict on their policies regarding this topic considering the history of the website.

What a topsy turvy world aye. Here I am trying to highlight what looks to be clearly botting (reselling botted items, same thing, just another step in the chain) and I've got two white knights arguing against me, based on technicality and potentially semantics. Why are you even arguing against that? What's your end game? To show that I'm somehow unjustified in saying something clearly looks to be botting and not wanting that around? So... botters win? Well done!

no ones white knighting.

You made a claim about the "rules", i showed you you're incorrect.

You dont even grasp the sheer irony of crying about bots on d2 java script parser...

You most certainly are white knighting. Even with you heavily leaning on this "rules" shtick, it isn't clear what actually constitutes "Prohibited behavior and content (text, links, images, videos etc.)”. I would assume you'd argue, again for what reason outside of wanting to be technically correct (which still doesn't even make much sense to me given what we're discussing) that posting trades for what is without a shadow of a doubt either directly from botted activity or onselling similar, does not violate the "rules". I would argue it does, who has it right?

There is no irony or relevance to that. I get the history of d2jsp, but what it functions as now isn't what it was, so what relevance does that hold now? Especially considering the supposed "irony" in the website itself clearly taking a stance against botting.

It's all about being technically correct... You complained saying they were breaking the rules. I explained that they weren't. You want to be "correct" and argue when you're not correct. You want to interpret the rules the opposite way in which the entire mod team interprets them.

Again, make a site suggestion if you're so against it. How hard is that?

In my opinion bots and hacks are the lifeblood of the game. I've seen a lot of stuff over the years and none of it was legit. I don't think things should be changed at all.
