Can someone give me some tips and tricks. I’m brand new coming from playing years and years of d2 and the mechanics are so different and I’m not used to the newer style games. What advice would u give to me jumping into the world of d4

Spend 1-2 hours reading guides and checking seasonal meta. That’s all you need if you’ve already played thousands of hours on d2.
Game’s fairly easy and been made very casual already.

So I’ve played for a bit now today and I’m still very confused on what people mean when they’re telling me to finish the campaign because I haven’t been given any quest aside from season challenges and they(my friends) keep telling me that those aren’t the campaign and idk what they are talking about. I feel like I was thrown into an open world game with no guidelines except on where to get a horse and that’s it.

campaign is crap and has no benefits in this game unless you're that new player that want to explore all aspect of the game. Other than that, skip campaign and just stick to seasonal stuffs, seasonal mechanics(this season is bloodystreak or whatever it is called)

You see I want to play the campaign, for me this is a brand new game and instead of jumping straight into the grinding nd leveling I’d like to see the full story line/ infrastructure of the game and how it correlates to the other diablos and how it’s different.

If that’s the case then ignore the seasonal stuffs or meta stuffs, pick a class of your favorite, spend 10-15’ read about different builds of the class then proceed to do campaign. Once you done with the campaign then time to get familiar with meta and seasonal stuffs.
