hdin is better

it's just the echo strike build mainly because it can single hand a 2h eth weapon, and getting best of both worlds when it comes it using fcr instead of ias. if they nerf the dmg on that, then it's not too crazy. bind demon being invincible is OP too but it doesn't clear mobs on its own

My guess is they will nerf the following
1) bind demond no longer will be as tanky/ have aura
2) cant use shield with 2 handed weapon. Maybe only the books
3) echo will have AR/ need ias, less dmg etc

But let's be honest it was a fun reset with a new op char to play with. If it was bad no one would even use it and it will just be sorcs flying around.

Personally they should had a skill to all hero to call back your minions/ merc like what warlock has. Major qol change. And this maybe way too much, but a blade warp equivalent for all heroes? This im not sure.

They had to make Warlock OP to make things a "success". The problem is that its too successful... Anyone who is semi decent at the game can absolutely trivialize most of the content in the game with a Warlock and its can be done at a fraction of the investment required by other classes to do anything remotely close.

I've often read things like "Nova sorc is still faster!" or "Hammerdins are still top" but man, the amount of investment and HR's required to achieve that is absolutely absurd when you compare what a Warlock can do with a fraction of the gear investment.

They have to nerf it significantly or buff other classes, but if they buff other classes they'll introduce the same ridiculous power creep that Warlock has and arguably completely destablize D2 as we've known it.

There is almost no downsides to a Warlock, except maybe the "temu teleport" but that is pretty much the ONLY thing that's not that good. They do almost everything better than other classes.

In 3 years, sure.

Two things continue to stand out:

You have a demon that tanks unlike anything else. It's insane to the point that people get more upset that their demon died more than them dying.

You have abilities to break immunities so you don't need conviction, lower resist, sunder charms, etc.

Dont you understand, this is how all games work
Any time anything new comes out, its more powerful
Same as guns in call of duty , to make people buy in,
Next patch nerf it, make the next new thing powerful

Its common sense, same as real life, any time u buy a new product, is suppose to be better until the next upgrade
