it is quite dangerous to both invoke Christ for political aims, and it is also dangerous and highly inflammatory to debate the merits of said strategy while assigning a binary view to religious groups. The statement, above, is problematic, it is in fact Antisemitic. You speak of "perspective about right and wrong between Christians and Jews" however there are people all over the planet, Christian, Jewish, other, each with their own views and perspectives about right and wrong, it is not right to label an entire religion (and everyone that falls under that religion) to a binary perspective.
Throughout the Israeli thread, everyone for the most part was careful to frame it as : we do not like what is happening in Gaza / the West Bank, as done by the Israeli Government. <<-- This is safe.
What was not said (or if it was said, it should have been sanctioned: we do not like ALL JEWS because of what is happening in Gaza / the West Bank, as done by ALL JEWS. <-- This is Antisemitic.
Noting most everyone knows my views on the conflict in Israel, I felt it behooved me to make this statement, in order to stress the dangers of the above argument.
