To wield the Infinity or not?

When you wield, you lose damage, but are able to have insight on merc.

When you dont wield, you dont get the insight.

What do you feel like the best option is? I am about to make my Infinity on hardcore ladder. Not sure if I do scythe for self wield, or just put in eth base (CV, thresher, giant thresher) for my merc.

Thoughts on this?

you lose sheet dps, but that -55% light res is putting in alot of work, probably a hell of alot more than you realize. theres a reason its bis...

and since you ought to be running es also, having a merc with insight is a no brainer

I over looked the -res from infinity, I forgot about that. Its been awhile. I will self wield the infinty, thank you!

I have done both self weild and merc weild (200 fcr with echuta, viper, spirit, 2/20 ammy, fcr ring). Self infinity is safer from a not dying and QOL perspective, 200 FCR is much faster overall killing and hunting (keys, TZ bosses, etc).

Self weld infidity is one of the best builts in the gam
Whoever i employ you to look into the jsp consensus best in slut built which is coh eschuta jmode but u said u cannot afford jmode so this point is mute. Until u are able to afford it then just go self weld. If ur scared and want to use an shield then consider crescent mon weapin. If u dont use energy shield for some reason then u can go place with souls but just not bother with them. Self weld infidity must use energy sheld. She is near unkilledable if it u avoid souls, baal, ect
