Plenty of examples of irrational market activity like meme stocks or the recent DOW run up to 50k (you could argue the run up is rational since it is more about the fanfare of would be corpo overlords celebrating our seemingly inevitable descent into a new era of feudalism but you get the point). Historically humans struggle with numbers at scale, probability, and associating things that turn out to be unrelated.
