I was under the impression that the mythic items were not able to be traded, is there a work around for that?

Rune sets are for sale.
You need to have two sparks and you will be able to craft the item you need from a jeweler.

Oh I gotcha, forgot about the rune crafting method. Either way I am still stuck with no sparks so won't really matter for me atm unfortunately

It's not hard to get sparks during the season.
I wish you good luck leveling up, and come back when you have the resources you need
