Wifes camera just broke, was a few years old to say the least. Wondering if anyone has suggestions for cost efficient and still reliable / great pictures.

Probably would spend a bit on one, but just want to see if anyone has recommendations

Basically, it really comes down to budget and what kind of photos she wants to take. You can get great results with a 500€ camera just as well as with a 2000€ one, depending on the use case.

I’ve worked with Nikon, Canon, and currently Sony, and all of them were great in their own way.

If you share your rough budget, people can probably give much better recommendations.

Think she went with Nicon and its probably a 700$ base. We have a few camera lenses shes going to try

So it we return it, about 700$

Camera not that important, it's better to put the money into lenses. That's why ppl usually stick with one brand.

You should look into Fujifilm cameras, they been on the rise the last few years for casual photographers and mid/pro

If u already got Nikon lenses just buy Nikon
