Because even North Korea has figured it out, Iran has yet to figure it out.

What you are presumably alluding to here is that North Korea has nuclear weapons (a deterrent) and Iran does not, because Iran explicitly has it written in to law that it will not pursue nuclear weapons. Therefore, the fact that Iran does not have nuclear weapons means the US can bomb it, and therefore its Iran's own fault for not building nuclear weapons in the first place.

That is pretty much it. The Iranians are kinda stupid.

It can be argued, them blocking the straight of Hormuz - is their deterrent.

It's not about nukes.

Their leaders are stupid.

It would be nice to see the young adult Iranians join the rest of the world, live their life happily.

But Iran has to Figure It Out before that can be.

North Korea wants to be a isolated hermit nation.

We all live in a propagandized world.

North Korea doesn't attack it's neighbors in the capacity that Iran has demonstrated.

It's people are happy with all they know.

young Cubans are not happy either but they cant do anything about US sanctions either.
