My friend does pest control for a job, spraying for bugs and killing them for a living... but hes one of the most hardcore Christians ive ever met... I wonder how he justifies it

Pays a donation and confesses his sins then repeats. It's a loophole they been exploiting to justify anything. After 2000 years it needs a patch but they left it out by design me thinks.

He doesn’t need to justify anything. Working in pest control is not a sin or something that requires forgiveness. It serves a legitimate purpose by protecting people from disease, property damage, and infestations. The work is done for health, safety, and sanitation, not out of cruelty or for pleasure.

Genesis 1:26
“Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

The obvious answer is that god created bugs to be eaten.

Because if you do not destroy that which threatens that which you love, what you love will be destroyed instead. Pests, vermin, invasive species, parasites... removing them is an act of love for yourself, your community, and even environment.

Ecclesiastes 3:19 would disagree

He better go to father and repent for his sins. How awful.

Exactly. My morning Walmart™️ Great Value®️ Crickets are actually the best way to start the morning.
