Nice job doing the testing. some people responding to this post dont deserve the time you spent doing this.

As a ritual user myself, i usually farm with 1 or 2 rituals, i was farming with 2 last night, and after i did the ritual i ported out and had a friend come into the portal and did the ritual himself with the same group of souls.
We are not sure if that works: redoing the ritual with the same souls the first player did, but it seems like it works the drops were nice for both of us: dropping death's web and lighting sunder during that session with 30+ uniques each for a full clear.

So essencially you could set up a ritual. completed it by seeing the letters and allowing the souls to finish and attack you. port out, and another person do the same ritual. Let me know your thoughts on this. seems like an effective way to farm players 8 with friends.

Hey, thanks man. Yeah, one or two rituals is really all you need. I thought about testing three, but with diminishing returns it’d be hard to show a clear difference. What you’re doing with a friend is exactly what I’d do, I actually had the same idea. In theory it should work that way, I just need to verify it and test it. I ll dig into it !

Now in your opinion, will doing ritual 3+ times as a portal barb help a lot?

The real questions I have
If I have 8 people in the game does it only count for the person doing the ritual?

If someone who didn’t do the ritual leaves or joins the game does that effect it your personal ritual mf?

Also I’ve seen things about different rituals how does that work?
I’ve only seen the long version and only done the long one.

Yes. Think of it as a temporary buff like enchant or BO, it's just invisible on your character screen. If behaves the same way as a buff like that would, it just has an insanely long duration.

I don’t think it’s necessary at all. If you did the math the amount of clears a portal barb does compared to the time to set the ritual up would probably even out the extra mf
