Decided to respec from phys bowzon to phys spearzon about 30 minutes ago and was messing around in the tz, apparently the thorns from a herald (level 1 herald whatever that means, it was the first and only one in the game, I didn't use a shard) can just 1 shot you insta out of nowhere
. Kinda reminded me of reflect maps in Path of Exile.
I'm surprised this isn't more common knowledge lmao, has this not happened to anyone else? Maybe I just missed that discussion, plus I didn't really read the patch notes lol.

So PSA don't fuck around with those thorns auras if you do a lot of phys dmg at once. I had fought some thorns heralds before on the phys bowa before and it seemed harmless, but I guess the burst damage was too much even with like 5x more life? I did not have a bone break so there was no extra phys dmg (I had a 15% pdr verdungos on too).
Not sure if/when I'm running it back, I do still have a lot of the expensive glass cannon bowa gear, but I was more excited to run around poking shit lolll ss yall
