Yes I get the same issue when I have too many clients. Try 2 clients for a bit and see how that goes. Also you can use tiny mod to help potentially

#1 thing that helped me was running d2r in compatibility mode. Windows 7.

Tried a bunch of other crap but nothing really helped: setting the d2r processes in task manager to realtime, limiting FPS to your refresh rate etc.

if running on laptop i would make sure that you are on maximum performance settings for your power options, and video card settings.

Dont know how to do it, as i use d2rloader script.

Im suspecting is a problem with the gpu, it has like a "negative" spike before the actual spike. Im mostly getting these spikes when there are a lot of things happening on the screen, such as bolts from scarabs, or when using town portal with the other accounts. But it also happens when im still standing in town sometimes, so don't know where the real problem is, yet.

Thanks to everyone for the responses

you just go to where d2r is installed, right click, go to properties, compatibility, run in windows 7 mode. you don't need to modify keylogger to accomplish this

im running 3 clients in a laptop, ram usage is not 100% and the rest of components are running ok, does someone else have 2-3 second spikes where it freezes altogether? all potato settings but my main client with 60 fps, using nvidia dlss ultra performance mode

thanks

Looks like you are running a potato. I saw another thread where you posted a picture of your full set Warlock and it looks like a half baked potato.

I’d work on getting a better computer. But only after improving your quality of life.

I get that it’s honorable working at 711 - but to support what you’re looking for you should invest in an education and higher paying job. A good union job would suit you well if you got the work credits.

Good luck.
