I'm about to get an enigma. Here's what I'm currently using;

Ransom Res/mf boots

No torch or skillers yet. Just some mf/res sc and Gheeds.

After Enigma, what should I focus on upgrading next?

some eldrich gc’s will probably yield the biggest dps improvement. after that maybe a better insight base such as an eth archon staff and getting a pride for your merc.

Upgrade to wirts leg

CV is good enough, but Staves are more consistent and a better choice for your Insight if you wanna oneshot mobs more consistently in full 8 player games.

No attack speed doesnt matter for ES, its just that the Staves provide a higher min. Damage output, which leads to more consistency. Remember you can only kill mobs once ;-)

Also, maybe THE single most important thing: You wanna have a cursed demon.

In order:

Pride for merc
Hellwarden’s or Coven for helm
Arachnid

The last two will allow you to hit the 125 FCR breakpoint.

Thanks for the info on the staffs! I'm assuming eth 4os Archon Staff would be ideal?

Archon staff is the best avg dps


Elder staff and Shillelagh are slightly below but would be easier to get eth 4OS.

maybe not a real concern if you aren't playing SP.

edit to remove a 3OS staff as an option.
