I would assume portal graphic doesn't make a difference, but there are many strange pieces to portal barb and the bug in general, so I wouldn't be surprised if something as seemingly simple as this makes the glitch less likely to trigger.

this is how i stumbled on it too. first a joke then i realized it was viable.

This video doesn't show anything, but lag and the other players killing minions while you cast portal which doesn't do a damn thing to monsters.

there have been over 10 frequent contributors who are all independent and even streamers have verified it. including very technical and trusted theorycrafters. just say u dont know how to be bportal glitch

I recently level'd a barb up just because of this post. I thought it was a troll post but I figured "Ah well, gonna lose to trolls, who cares". Couldn't get it to work on my first two attempts, went back to this thread and got it working on my 3rd attempt. I can't yet get it to work consistently, which is a bit unfortunate, but I'm guessing I'm doing it wrong occasionally, it's a bit more complex than the other classes, but oh my GOD it plays different from any other class in the game. Guessing I'll get bored of it soon, but I'm enjoying the challenge of figuring this stuff out thanks to OP for letting me know, I had no clue portal barb was a thing
