Hello. I decided to start a Wordpress blog. So for my first blog entry, I input the title, as well as the body of the entry. However, when I try to look at it (I used a different browser), it showed the title, an excerpt, and then the body. But I never selected for any excerpt, I don't know why it's there. I want to get rid of it. A few sources tell me to go to my Wordpress admin page, go to Appearance then go to Customize. But under Appearance I only see themes and editor. No Customize. And when I went into both thems and editor, I don't see anything that looks like I can delete the excerpt with.

yea, a blog is about writing, is it not? I don't think i need to be good with computers to write stuff. back when gab was still around, i wrote and wrote and wrote without knowing a single thing about computers or screenshots
