how do you guys do that when you want to make a deal, lets say 100USD for 10'000 fg (you send 100USD gift-card and receive 10'000 fg), but your steam is running on a different currency?

My currency is Swiss Francs (CHF) - it appears I can only gift in CHF (5CHF, 10CHF, 25CHF, 50CHF, 100CHF). 100CHF would be 115USD with todays currency exchange ratio and 100 USD would be 80CHF.

So would I now just send that guy 1x 50CHF and 3x 10CHF (80CHF ~ 100USD). But we neither do know the currency ratio, that steam uses to calculate nor if they charge any fee for that ... so he could also end up with a 90USD balance or whatever.

How do you guys do that? Am I basically screwed if my currency is neither USD or EUR? These are the currencies which are traded most.

Thanks

You cant sadly, you can only trade in your currency. Steam wont even let us gift games to those in other countries, to my knowledge

It's perfectly legal for people to make posts and offer their fg for steam balance, how that steam comes wearher It's a steam card or on your account is perfectly acceptable.

FYI Steam will allow you to gift games outside You currency as long as the difference of price isn't more than 10% after conversion, so basically only CAD to USD, CAD to Euro or Euro to USD

How could USD to CAD work if it's only allows 10% or less of a difference if 1 CAD = 0.729 USD?
