Hey, so i was wondering if I have reason to be worried about bots stealing my picks when i host public Chaos runs?
Is this justified, are ppl doing this?

And would I even notice?
Does it make a difference if they are a screen back or can they grab stuff from anywhere without me even seeing the drops?

Any info is appreciated!

if you dont want people picking up your shit, dont play in public games

But why ? Firstly it's harder to code the bot to join random public game, because it can either be already cleared, or the area is contested. Much easier to make their own private games and be 99% efficient.

I just want to play with ppl sometimes and have a little social interaction while playing from time to time (and a higher drop rate ofc )
And not be worried about being screwed while im doing that

That’s just not the way d2 is setup. If you want social interaction you’ll split xp and loot. If you want xp and loot you need to be mildly antagonistic about social interaction.

Pickit is a thing, map hack with notifications and arrows is a thing. If you're closer and have fast hands you're probably fine but it's lossible. both are obviously bannable and I doubt a sizeable portion of the playerbase uses them as they're really not worth the risk.
