Can confirm from my testing it definitely DOES work on sin, but the issue is you have to end up casting more portals than a barb and with slower fcr to clear the same area, so you end up with about 70-80% Barb's clear speed. So it does work, it's just janky.

Hey, I'm not claiming it's as good as barb or anything, I'm just saying it does work... It's just a good break from barb spam you see everywhere, sorc is more common on HC, but barb is just faster in general. So the rankings so far are

I mean it should be like 1/3 or 1/9 or 1/27 the growth in aoe per cast not sure how that function maths out with 1 vs 3 frames of backswing, and then 78% of the speed casting

Okay yeah I get this could still be ~70% overall speed (and no horking) because you still only need to spam tele for X vs Y seconds, maybe thats 4-5x longer but so what thats really really fast, while majority of time actually spent ingame is just teleporting around spawning in enemies and collecting loot. (at 78% tele speed)

Barb with way faster aoe growth (actually so fast it crashes easily), faster teleport and hork, seems like clear advantage

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend anyone with a weak PC to play any portal build for sure... Because of all the lag you're losing out on lots of frames to cast. I just did 10 baal runs on portal barb vs slingsin and compared the averages, it looks like on average (with my build at least), slingsin has about 74% the clear speed of a portal barb. It's viable for sure, but only for clear speed and nothing else. Sadly you're missing out on horking and faster clear. One thing I noticed is when a sin claw blocks, it interrupts the portal cast... So I wonder if I dropped claw block completely and just went for higher fhr frames in general it would be better? Because portal barb doesn't block at all.

I think after mosiac sin, nobody wants to play even more broken builds. Yeah warlock is pretty strong, but comparing it to portal barb is pointless. Warlock can kill everything one hit, but not bosses and portal barb has it beat there + clear speed + horking.

I don't get the joke. What does a portal have to do with a barb?
