i hostiled a portal barb and they/them popped my body

this has actually been reported already in the thread. There is some bug involving creating a body. So after one death if the portal barb has pre-buffed enough, u will just pop body since the game can’t spawn a corpse. This was talked about much earlier in the thread. I’m sorry you lost your gear bro.

Been experimenting a little on single player, thinking of bringing it to bnet.. but I've been trying to make a slingsin. I've been experimenting with some gear, but nothing concrete yet. Something about duel claws with sling + the casting animation speed is really strong, but I haven't figured out the perfect gear. The sin + portals is really strong so far.

Clear speed is about 80% of portal barb, and I'm not sure what else I can do to increase clear speed. Any suggestions?

True, but I'm really tired of portal barb and portal sorc (on hardcore) already since they're the meta. I realize it won't ever be as good as those two, but I'd like to at least have some fun with it. I still think I can squeeze out a bit more clear speed from it.

200% fcr barb has action frame 6 on 7 fpa cast
174-200% fcr sin has action frame 6 on 9 fpa cast
200% fcr sorc has action frame 4 in 7 fpa cast

I don't know if the portal is fully reverting between each cast like its supposed to or if its still exponentially growing but at an incredibly small exponent. On barbs it works because of the only 1 frame interval, and not 100% sure about other fcr setups. I mean a sin maybe could do it but it might be like that lowest % speedrun where link stares at a rupee for 17 hours to clip through a wall.

its objectively the case that the bportal glitch on sin is so much weaker than bportal on barb. barb has the dual wield suicide branch which clears even the bportal sorc.

Its not a lack of +skills since you can hit 174 fcr with hoto spirit and thats making up +3. Its the issue that a sin with 174 fcr is casting at the same action frame / fpa of an 86% fcr barb. I mean, a barb could use hoto spirit shako maras 2x soj arachs and have higher base radius, the issue is the action frame differential is basically canceling out every cast, I haven't even seen it performed on a sin to begin with
