Hey guys, just a quick warning. I was running my portal barb today casting portals like crazy and something went wrong. Pretty sure the FCR portal spam overheated my CPU and fried my motherboard. Just got back from the Best Buy Geek Squad and they think the CPU might need replacing. Use this build with caution so you don’t end up where I did.
I was checking with HWiNFO and it sure looked like GPU fans are spiking and GPU temperature is what was going ballistic not CPU, maybe it was both but a 5070ti couldn't handle it
Should be safe online because the game crashes long before computer (for me) but I would recommend extreme caution if testing it offline, like don't test it offline at all
