early game, or single player, where you havent found much yet, starter warlock gear is typically like:

I am messing around with single player, and that is my current setup. i am able to hit max res in hell, but only have like 1.2k life, and still not as tanky as i'd like. can this build do ubers to run key portals and uber trist for torch? or what would i need to make sure i add to be able to do it?

I am used to doing uber trist in the past with fully decked out smiter with lots of sorb gear and cb. do i need that type of gear to do uber trist, or can my budget warlock handle it?

I have 3 of each key and really want to run ubers to get a torch, but worried i am too weak. don't want to waste the materials if i am not ready. thoughts?

I got lucky and got a lock torch first try
uber baal - make sure you position your bind demon summon in front of you so you dont get diced by the ice bolts
bind demon is super op man
i only use act 3 council cursed demon too, still op

anyways heres my lock gear
cv insight noneth
authority body armor
spirit mon
tal helm
junk belt/boots/gloves
+1 lock skills ammy
random rings
random resist charms
75 fcr breakpoint

killed meph first, then diablo, then baal

10-24k damage and 75 fcr on the char sheet

easy. Just bind hephasto and hide behind him.

so you didn't use any life tap, crushing blow, sorb gear, and stacked res beyond the basic hell 75 max? those are things I always made sure I had with smiter doing ubers.

why use andy helm for ubers when you cannot leach from them without life tap?

What I heard CB doesn't' work on warlock

Bind a decent hf/amp hephasto in p8 then go to town, not much else to it, your gear is plenty fine.

Drink a bunch of yellow cold potions before hitting baal or you are going to die fast. Some cold absorb will help you.

does binding on p8 really make him have more hp and dmg than p1? i assumed it didnt matter what player count you were on when you do the binding.



i have played this game for 23 years and never realized this. just looked it up, and you are right, and works for psn too...

Antidote Potions: Instantly remove the poison effect and grant a temporary buff of +50 Poison Resistance and +10 to Maximum Poison Resistance for 30 seconds.
Thawing Potions: Instantly remove the "frozen" or "chilled" effect and grant a temporary buff of +50 Cold Resistance and +10 to Maximum Cold Resistance for 30 seconds.
The duration of these resistance buffs stacks if you drink multiple potions, however it does not add additional resistance beyond the +50 / +10.

I too learned something fighting him.
Uber baal has chilling armor and throws back with cold against ranged attacks. Since i never attacked him with a ranged char i never felt that pain. And echoing strike its ranged.
