I used to have a lot of patience for home thingies.
Now, we finally replaced our ancient 1990s dryer with a not too fancy, but efficient one. The flexible aluminum dryer exhaust thingy was a pain in the butt. It crushes too easily and the max length that our local hardware store had was 6'. A tight length indeed. I do not want to do that chore ever again. :bonk:

Ventless dryers aren't as good as vented. Takes longer to finish a load. In your kind of house, I bet your hose in just sticking out a window or in a sink?

Ventless heat pump dryers are the most energy-efficient option, using up to 70% less energy

I wash
then i use dryer for just 30min
then i throw it on the clothesline when its hot and still a bit wet
dries in 4hours

This method also makes your clothes last 3 times longer

I read on the internet and then saw a video somewhere showing how flammable these flexible hoses are, they will light up instantly with just a little dryer dust, i would throw it all in the trash and go with a rigid set up thats not going to cause you to die. ( im not trolling btw)

I was looking at alternatives. Might just go for something like that when we have some savings. The dryer was one of those emergency replacements for our old and making clunking sounds 1990s dryer.
