Would've thought it would be the opposite with first ladder of new expansion. Response times seem slower than usual, about half the time people ghost after putting in an accepted offer.

Maybe it's the split between D2R classic and RotW?

I work at the moment. You can clearly see, during after work hours in EU, 12-16k people are here on the forums. During the work time, 6-8k. Of course, I don't trade anything when I don't play.
