When does the U.S. make artificial sun in the middle east and we call it a day? A lot easier and a lot cheaper.

US could also just you know not fuck everything up and leave the M.E alone. Would be alot easier and alot cheaper.

Let's murder the very elderly Ayatollah, a religious figure, enraging millions of Shia followers, to have him merely be replaced by his much younger successor

Brilliant idea

There is a chance that a new leader will make a peace deal with USA and Israel.
If he doesnt, Trump can kill him too, right?
Eventually there will be a leader that will actually want to survive and make a peace deal with Trump.
Israel/USA dont want too much, they want Iran to stop being hostile and that's it.
They can keep their country religous, with no women rights and no democracy, nobody cares as long as they arent hostile

Like in Iraq?

I guess backstabbing countries you dont like, kidnapping people you dont like, killing leaders you dont like, bombing countries you dont like, is the democratic thing to do.

Iran makes a hundred missiles monthly, so USA/Israel would have to produce 200 intercepting missiles monthly (you need 2 intercepting missiles on average to shot down one attacking missile).
So waiting would make a situation worse.
Timing is also good because we are past winter and dont need oil/gas for heating any longer (or need much less at least).
I'm not glad with fuel prices raising, but sometimes people have to accept some inconviences for a bigger strategy goals.

Before the 2026 war, Iran was widely considered hostile to Israel, especially at the level of the Iranian government.

Below is a clearer explanation.

---

# 1. Official Iranian government stance

Since the **1979 Islamic Revolution**, the government of Iran has treated Israel as an enemy state.

Key points of official policy:

**1️⃣ Iran does not recognize Israel as a legitimate state.**
Iranian leaders usually call Israel the **“Zionist regime”** instead of recognizing it as a country.

**2️⃣ Hostile rhetoric from leaders.**
Various Iranian leaders have made strong statements against Israel over the years, including rhetoric about Israel disappearing or being destroyed. For example, slogans displayed in Tehran have said that **Israel “must be wiped from the face of the earth.”** ([The Guardian][1])

**3️⃣ Threats of retaliation against Israel.**
Iranian officials repeatedly warned that if Israel attacked Iran, Iran would respond militarily and strike Israeli territory. ([Middle East Observer][2])

**4️⃣ Support for groups that fight Israel.**
Iran has funded and armed organizations such as:

* Hezbollah
* Hamas

These groups have fought wars or conflicts with Israel.

Because of these factors, Israel and many Western countries saw Iran as a major security threat.

---

# 2. But Iran and Israel were not always enemies

Before 1979, relations were actually very different.

Under the rule of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (the Shah of Iran):

* Iran **recognized Israel**
* They had **trade and military cooperation**
* Israel even helped Iran with technology and agriculture

The hostility only began **after the Islamic Revolution**, when the new Islamic government adopted a strong anti-Israel ideology.

I already told Many_Names that Israels attack on Iran was JUSTIFIED. tit for tat. A country cannot do nothing when someone attacks, you must retaliate. Iran supported proxies. Those proxies attacked Israel. Israel dealt with the proxies then attacked Iran last year. Tit for Tat. While Israel does have an argument, the US does not.

Finally North Korea is hostile to the US but the US cant do anything about it. All most countries want is to be left alone.

Israel and USA are a team, a team works together and helps each other.
Countries alone weak, but together strong.

About north Korea we will see, if Iran goes smooth maybe one day USA fixes north Korea also? But this is science fiction as of today

Pretty sure the US will move on Cuba next, alas it cant fix North Korea because North Korea has a deterrent. I wonder how many more countries will start getting nukes now.

You are probably right about north Korea.
Many countries would like to have nukes, so its up to a world not to let them.
The world has failed to stop north Korea from getting nukes.
We should do better next time.

by bombing them? If the US idea to stop countries from getting nukes is to bomb them, surely you can see that other countries nervous of being bombed, would get nukes?
