So what other chars besides a warlock can actually kill a Harold in less then 5 mins, without getting 1 shotted, 3 trips to town and 30x full juvies?

Have a pretty end game nova and literally can’t do anything to them, have a warlock come into my tp and kill it in 5 seconds.

Probably any of the top tier boss killers. So a Javazon jumps to mind. Alternatively you’ll probably need to run a lower player count on most other builds.

I’m debating it for the range but my merc doesn’t last long either getting full jubs fed to him

Also thought about a cs zon with their massive dmg just found perf non eth titans so maybe that’s next, just annoying how they centerd such a important part of the game around only 1 character that even has the ability to kill them full games

They don't have much more HP than baal or ubers
I mean I never had a problem with blood boil even though its not that suited for bosses, because they also come with 14+ corpses to engorged, but that's warlock OP

killing mercs is indeed a real issue for chars like javazon/light sorc reliant on it, otherwise heralds can often just be big damage sponges that you can trap behind some geometry and rail down. A fire sorc spamming meteor+fireball from across a gap doesn't have much problem dealing 2million+ damage.

I have virtually no issues soloing P8 tier5 heralds on a normal hdin (nothing crazy, standard BiS items). Merc survives every time with zero life leech, just healing from prayer/insight/cure

You just need any normal fully geared character

My nova sorceress was fine for most heralds but struggled on one or two high level ones with insane stats. Died but was able to recover my body and finish him.

You can also static them down to like 25% health so it shouldn’t be taking you 5 mins.
I was melting them in like 10-20 seconds.

My dream/foh zealer pala, java and ofc warlock all kill heralds like they are regular mobs

edit: Nova sorc is squishy, makes sense they are hard to deal with without mega dmg

Yeah nova seems to be a tricky one due to the range needed I’ve used the geometry and doors before but man still hella annoying with how soft they are
