But honestly, it’s a way to fix your res and get some mf on “budget”.
Not as much effective dps without the crit. Requires much more expensive and suboptimal gear elsewhere to fix your fcr and sustain.
But we’re talking about an op warlock, so who cares, have fun building however you like and huhhh jizzz

You can reach overkill dmg with insight, or any weapon… what matters most is every other piece of gear. Everyone’s talking about the weapon, but that’s like talking about what’s best boots on a self-wield nova sorc. This slot comes last in priority when you already got a rand insight. And when you’re done going over the full wheel and min/maxed your other gear, you come back to just upgrading to a better insight.

In front of all this novelty, I too was a caveman who fapped in front of big numbers. But evolution is a great thing.

To many easier sources of hf to be honest.

I have on merc, as higher level than both demon and doom.

I have used doom in a tmaul on single player to test, you could probably do the same in about a minute and a half

What you said in that other post makes sense, and I appreciate your insight (pun intended).

That being said, my thought with the doom decapitator was mainly to use something I have found and be slightly different.

Now is the time to enjoy playing it how the fuck you want.
It’s busted. But it may get nerfed.
But if you want to have fun, just make sure you fix your sustain.
No innate leech on doom, so you’ll need a lil somewhere.
No sustain during tele, but it’s less of a concern since the introduction of TZs which normally lets you farm right from the wps without long tele distances. Mana pots still exist anyway. You can use hex:siphon too.
No innate res on doom, but the dmg is high enough that you can just swap other gear pieces to fix that instead of trying to push your dmg further.
