how does ias work in WW in d2r ?

works the same as everything else now, 1h limited to 4fpa and 2h limited to 5fpa. but in dual wield it calculates the hit frame independently per weapon and averages them together, round up, rather than averaging EIAS together

you only need 14 ias in total for 4 fpa with a berserker axe anyway, so just the ias from grief/beast alone is enough, hl helps for some slow

with arach slow you need 27 ias, so even the lowest roll grief without hl would still be enough

vs cleglaw 25% slow you need 54 ias, so you could aim for a 34+ ias grief then and use highlords, but its a very specific scenario

for berserk without slow you need 44 ias, so any grief + hl is again enough

for berserk with arach slow you need 65 ias, so again 30 ias on grief + hl + 40/15 jewel is enough, having 40 ias on grief over 30 wouldnt change a thing here, you'd still need the jewel




theres some specific slow % where extra ias helps ofcourse, but you don't need it for most main setups

Pvm it’s not bad. Especially p1, especially if you aren’t using a might merc. Especially if you want life tap. Many ways to use it. But is it the ultimate p8 weapon ? Maybe not. I get it.
