You can attack during negotiations. That’s not a silent rule or anything. nor a declaration of a ceasefire. I dunno where you thought he said he wouldn’t ever attack Iran. The dude has been saying Iran needs attacked for nearly 12 years now. He even accused Obama and Biden of being too lax with them.

Well Trump did accuse Obama of wanting to start a war with exactly Iran because he was going to lose the next election. In 2019 he also wrote "going into the middle east is the worst decision ever made".

Here's the thing and what you might have missed about my post. I'm not supporting the Iranian government, in the least. What i'm highlighting is that there's a whole bunch of double standards going on for what is apparently appropriate behaviour from the west and what is not from the east and that kind of double standards are just hard to swallow. This whole thing is honestly three serial killers shooting at eachother in a crowded mall and they expect the rest of the people there to applaud them for when they hit eachother.
Let's also not forget this terrible regime that is currently being dismantled in Iran at the great risk to millions of millions of people was in part, or fully, installed by the west.
