I know you said no Warlocks, but which Warlock builds have you tried? I know the ES one is a bit tired until it's balanced later, but I've been liking my cleaver and I enjoyed the fire build I had offline.

This is actually a solid suggestion.

Fishymancer is very walkable on non-competitive. Lets you go slow on your terms and gives you the opportunity to explore and experience the game with all its facets again. Not OP in any way. So no rushing through, just grinding. Super enjoyable Playthrough with ongoing progression.

Double dream paladin

Do a challenge run with only 3 socket wirt leg of your choice

guill with 15ias jewel
highlord's wrath or cat's eye
1x raven + any ring with mana leech
upped viper for the 13 MDR (very important)
crescent moon phase blade + stormshield p diamond
switch 2x bartuc's
thundergod's vigor
dracula's grasp
upped gore rider
torch
anni

act 2 might merc with reaper's toll + whatever

Skilling: max dtalon, the main attack, 1p for dragon flight, put enough points in fade, so you have 15 on your bartuc switch, 1p in death sentry, 2p in fire blast for the extra shot. All of the rest into lightning sentry and its synergies. If you want to use skillers, use trap ones.
Playing style: cast fade on switch, when you see a mob, cast lightning sentries, then dragon flight into them kicking the shit out of the one with the most hp. As soon as the first mobs die, lay a death sentry for the corpse explosion aoe clear with half of their life (static). Mind blast and cloak of shadow dangerous mob. This char can enter any dirty tp unscathed
You can farm dest keys (without merc) and do uebers safely with her. There are no immunes and no sunders are required.
