Hello guys, need a bit of help.

I can play d2r in my old laptop, however cant in my newer laptop.

Did:
- Latest drivers
- scan and repair bnet
- unistall and install bnet and d2r
- did a scan iobit advance systemcare checking and deleting

Is there a way to fully remove any file pertaining to d2r? I think its coded something that cant run in a notepad or something, hence not pushing through the game. Registry or what not?

Would really appreciate any help guys. Ticket for Bnet was useless.

Buy a 3rd laptop that can handle D2R.
If it cannot, buy a 4th one

Both are gaming laptops, was able to play just fine before the d2r rotw update.

This is best advice. I’d take it a step further and buy a 5th just in case. You may even want to consider a 6th and 7th so you can safely run P8 games.

He'll need an 8th one tho since the 2nd cant load D2

“Gaming laptop” says nothing.

And yes bnet has a registry entry, but it’s usually empty after using uninstall.

What error are you getting?

Using I5 1th gen, 3060 gpu, 16gb ram. Was able to play fine in both laptops and all before the RotW update. Maybe something is corrupted and i dunno, i dont wanna reformat just for d2r. Error is that it just doesnt launch. I can play ok with the old laptop (i5 gen 6, 1060, 16gb ram), but not on the newer one.
