At clvl 91 you will be able to bind a TZ one which will also reach the cap of your own clvl, for summon lvl 91, which is HF aura lvl 13.
You can then use BC from cta to push it to lvl 14.

You can also reach lvl 14 (or 15 with cta) if you are clvl 98 and you bind with a TZ demon.

Wow, I didn't know BC works. That means hephasto's conviction is potentially better than bermalberist

Yup
Equal lvl at clvl 88-95 + cta
But higher lvl at clvl 96-99 + cta (as long as the bind was from TZ)
Warlock really is op, not only a free infinity, but potentially 1 lvl higher for more -res AND letting you override the conv from TZ 96 mobs which is also pretty great defensively.

Despite what the character screen displays, higher level Conviction will only prevent a hostile lower level being applied if higher level is active before it is applied, and equal level never prevents hostile Conviction being applied.

What if I bind a TZ 96 hephasto when I'm lvl 94, what conv lvl will that be? Do I get lvl12 or do I hv to lvl until 96 and bind a new one + BC to get lvl 13?

He’ll be capped at lvl 94 = conv lvl 11 (12 with cta)

I haven’t tested if he can lvl up with you, maybe if you lvl and rejoin game as he gets resummoned, but I somehow doubt this would work… this would require the bind to retain the original mlvl through all games… but I guess it’s possible since all other stats are saved.

Also, hard to test, but if it’s like revives, mlvl can still determine some base stats like def.

Ty for reply, it's informative enough. Was just curious as I have a bound demon I've been keeping for many levels due to the good affixes (stone skin, cursed, aura)

Yeah well it’s really not a big deal cuz most stats come from your own skills (demonic mastery, blood oath, bind demon) and the only aura that can potentially make a noticeable difference is conv

Edit:
Also, apparently not all summons are capped at your own clvl
It seems ravens are an exception, slvl+clvl

The math is easy, but why not simplify? Blessed aim = mLvl/5

Or what am I missing?

Well this is for monsters.
Yes, as simple as X per mlvl.
But once converted to the state of a pet, it seems that most stats are based on the min value between mlvl and clvl.
And what is listed as “max value” in first post can also be increased by 1 with battle cmd.
I tested this one by applying BC to a demon with might/fana on a warlock without any pts in levitation mastery, and my dmg went up.

I’ll do some more testing tomorrow to try to have a better understanding of what is going on with the lvl of a bound demon and what are the incidence on the stats. It’s a bit hard to conclude anything with the limited tests I did so far and the fact that the skills are adding stats on top of the base stats.

Yup its like necro’s revive.

If clvl < mlvl, clvl is used

Pets are hardcapped to your own clvl.
You cannot have a summon higher lvl than you.
You can test this with a lvl 30 binding hell lister or whatever.
This usually ultra tanky pet is getting smacked by a regular hell fallen.

Fana is lvl 11 at 88
Lvl 12 at 96
And while you can spawn uniques with mlvl 96 in TZ 93+ (clvl 91), if you bind them before clvl 96 they still grant you with fana lvl 11.
Lvl 12 with BC.

Google “amazon basin aura enchanted” if you want to see the chart with all lvls.

si k yes i was also browsing the amazon basin. really useful information. I just forgot i had looked it up prior and it make sense with the math. thanks.
