I followed the posted guide of Kevin, but unfortunately i didnt succeed.

I added the site to the home screen, logged in, went to settings > push notifications > upon clicking the button:
Your browser denied permission for notifications. Please allow d2jsp.org to notify you in your browser settings.

I reset my browser settings, recreated the "app" several times but d2jsp doesnt appear in settings > notifications either.

Any suggestions?

Did you check pc settings - Notifications

On PC it works easily, for clarification im talking about iPhone on iOS 26.3

Well it would be the same concept - Allow notifications from said app,

Google said: Go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Feature Flags and turn on "Notifications"
If this is on, then idk.

Tried it, as already mentioned, that's why im here.
Tried it in safari, it said Error: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaliuating 'window.Notification.requestPermission')
and in the home app the hint: Your browser denied permission for notifications. Please allow d2jsp.org to notify you in your browser settings.


I tried a device restart now, still now change. Dunno what else to test. Does it work for anyone with the same iOS Version?

I dont have much more clues sadly.
It seemed o work fine for me.

Will update to 26.3.1 and see if anything changes

i was just able to do it from my iphone,

delete the app and try doing it again

also make sure when it says you "Click "Allow" on the pop-up to enable notifications"

i got 26.3.1


by chance are you opening it as a web app? when you add it to home there is a open as web app checked on my phone

No, it says the same on my device "Your browser denied permissions"

i opened it in web app, otherwise i wont get the denied by browser permissions message. i just updated to 26.3.1. Will try it again in a few moments

go to settings and then apps and see if these look the same
