question here comes as the jewel itself contains min/max dmg and ed. SO those two, are they working ok on a helm?

If not, what player will need for a protector stone on a helm is -physical resist only, nothing else

I hope blizz correct this bug some day :) Help the melee chars

i tried it. i think the jewel breaks the ed there too

Yeah prob. But you are at least getting some minimal on screen damage. I think the -res and other stats still make it godly af when socketed in non wep

i guess it works fine in a shield with enhanced damage

tested with another jewel on a Gface

Original jewel - 48 ed -5 res
New jewel - 34 ed -7 res

Dmg absolutely the same, so YES, ED on the stone is worthless on a helm

The jewel also kinda sucks for assassins and people who use hustle. The 1% chance for fade overwrites BoS.

gface has no enhanced damage
the item needs to have enhanced damage, before the jewel
